Nominations for the 2024 African Women in Agribusiness Awards (AWiAA) close tonight

The deadline for nominations for the prestigious 2024 African Women in Agribusiness Awards (AWiAA) is fast approaching, with submissions set to close at midnight tonight, September 16, 2024. Hosted by Guzakuza, this highly anticipated event recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of women in the agribusiness sector across Africa.

Now in its third edition, the awards highlight innovation, perseverance, and leadership among women making significant contributions to agribusiness. With 23 categories, including “SHE – Innovate Award,” “Emerging Star in Agribusiness,” and “African Agribusiness Woman of the Year,” this year’s awards promise to be a landmark celebration of excellence.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 2, 2024, during the Women in Agribusiness Week (WAW), a week-long event aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in the sector.
