Demeter Ghana Limited is an agricultural focused company, committed to providing agricultural solutions to farmers. Specifically into the sourcing and distribution of agricultural inputs; including fertilizer, seeds and inoculants to addressing the numerous challenges facing farmers.

With over 10 years’ experience in Ghana and West Africa, the company is currently among the top five (5) importers of fertilizers into Ghana and a key supplier to Cocobod and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.(MoFA), under government flagship program Planting for Food and Jobs. (PFJ).

According to the Operations Manager of Demeter Ghana Limited, Nick Parish, the company is scaling up its commitment to reach out to farmers across the length and breadth of the country.

“We’re trying to innovate with regards to the inputs farmer use, and make their operations more efficient and more productive by sourcing proven and high quality inputs from around the world which can thrive in the Ghanaian context” he said

“Our main line of service to farmers is in the products we sell. But we try very hard to work with farmers to identify their challenges, and then use our global network of agric scientists to devise a protocol. We then make all arrangement for import, product registration, etc, and deliver the products to the farmer’s door” He added.

He called on farmers producing on either small or large scale to contact Demeter Ghana for improved and better solutions to their fertilizer and seed treatment needs.

Some of the products the Demeter Ghana has introduced to over the years includes, Omya Calciprill, a high-quality soil conditioner from Germany that is used to rid soils of any acidity and allows for yields to increase and mostly used by Cocoa farmers.

Polysulphate, a certified organic fertilizer consisting of Sulphur, Potassium, Magnesium and calcium and proven to benefit to crop yields across all types of crops, especially tree crops

Demeter Ghana is also providing solutions to seed treatment with the introduction of ECO-T which is beneficial soil inoculant, Increases plant growth and crop yield, Improves the root system: Improves germination and seedling development.

Exclusive Supplier of Bakker Brothers from the Netherlands. Hybrid and Open Pollenated varieties of vegetable seeds.  Includes; Tomato, Cabbage, Chilli, Cucumber, Carrots, Lettuce, Okra, Sweet Pepper. Hybrid Maize seeds also available.
